Stretch Marks

Stretch marks tell the story of your body, but if they bother you, there is a natural, safe protocol that can fade them significantly.

Stretch Marks

Why this treatment matters

Stretch marks go through two very different stages. Red (or purplish) stretch marks are the initial, inflammatory stage — they still have active blood supply, which is why they respond faster to treatment. White stretch marks are older, with scar tissue already formed and no blood supply, which usually calls for longer protocols and a combination of techniques.

Knowing which stage your stretch marks are in — how long they've been there and which area of the body is affected — is what guides the most effective protocol.

What we offer

The most modern and effective options

At Instituto Splendore, the protocol is personalized and can combine Chemical Peel, Carboxytherapy, Micropuncture, Radiofrequency (including the Axcel RFM100), PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) and Enzymatic Lipo, alone or combined according to the type of stretch mark (white or red), how long it's been there and the area of the body affected.

Results usually begin to show from the third session onward, with progressive improvement in texture throughout the protocol defined during a personalized consultation. Since this is a condition of genetic and hormonal origin, new stretch marks can appear over a lifetime — maintenance sessions help preserve the natural, long-lasting result achieved.

Every case is unique

Here, no treatment is off-the-shelf

There is no single formula. In the assessment consultation, Dr. Chris Marchetti studies your case — your body, your routine and your goal — and designs the exclusive combination of technologies, methods and protocols that makes sense for you.

Frequently asked questions

Questions about Stretch Marks

Does the treatment hurt?
It depends on the technique and each patient's sensitivity — the team adjusts the protocol and uses topical anesthetic when necessary to ensure comfort.
How many sessions are needed?
Results usually begin to appear from the third session onward, varying according to the severity of the stretch marks and each skin's individual response.
Are the results permanent?
The improvement achieved is usually long-lasting in the treated areas, but since it is a chronic condition, new stretch marks may appear over the course of life — maintenance sessions help preserve the result.
Can old white stretch marks be treated?
Yes. White stretch marks are scar tissue and respond more slowly, requiring longer protocols and a combination of collagen-stimulating techniques — but there is significant improvement in texture and color. We define the plan during the consultation.
What is the difference between white and red stretch marks?
Red ones are recent, still with active vascularization, and respond faster; white ones are already scar tissue and require longer, combined protocols.
